Whoa-oh, here they come — Daryl Hall and John Oates, that is.
The kiss-listing, man-eating Rock and Roll Hall of Fame pop duo has announced a huge summer tour, and it’s coming to Tampa. Hall and Oates will come to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater on Aug. 15, according to their website. At the moment, it’s their only scheduled tour date in Florida.
If the promise of a night of soulful hits like She’s Gone, Rich Girl, I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do), Private Eyes and You Make My Dreams isn’t enough, the duo is bringing along as openers British pop group Squeeze (Tempted) and early-2000s busker KT Tunstall (Suddenly I See, Black Horse and the Cherry Tree).
Ticket prices have not yet been announced, but keep an eye on the band’s website or Live Nation for details.
