  • The Red Rocker returns! Sammy Hagar and the Circle, featuring Hagar’s old Van Halen bandmate Michael Anthony alongside Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson, will perform at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa on July 11, with Whitesnake and Night Ranger opening.   • Mexican guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela just won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, and now they’re coming to Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater on March 28. Tickets are $33.25 and up. Click here.

  • With a busy concert slate (DJ Khaled, Alicia Keys) underway, Tampa’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is getting into the theater game. A touring version of Jim Steinman’s Bat Out of Hell — The Musical will set up shop in the Rock’s new special events center from April 21-26. The musical, featuring Steinman’s collaborations with Meat LoafParadise By the Dashboard Light, Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad, I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That) — is “the first in a series” of musicals the Hard Rock will host this year.
