If you failed to properly celebrate the 30th anniversary of Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 last fall, (A) what is wrong with you; that’s one of the greatest pop albums of all time, and (B) you’ve got another chance this summer.

Janet Jackson has announced a new leg of her 2020 Black Diamond Tour, and it’s coming to Tampa’s Amalie Arena on June 27. It will include a “special performance of Rhythm Nation,” according to tour info. Whether that’s a full album performance or just a medley, we’ll see. But hearing any part of the ferocious pop statement that gave us Rhythm Nation, State of the World, Black Cat and Alright will be worth it.

Jackson, of course, has many more hits to her name, from Control and What Have You Done For Me Lately to That’s the Way Love Goes and All For You. Last year, she was elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Tickets to the Tampa show start at $49.95 and go on sale soon. Click here for details.
