The Zac Brown Band likes to buck convention whenever possible, mixing it up with rock and pop stars as they try to redefine what country music can be.

But one thing they’re always good for: An annual trip to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Zac and company will make their way back to Tampa this fall, with a concert set for Sept. 18. Caroline Jones will open the show. Tickets start at $36.50 and go on sale at noon Feb. 28. Click here for details.

The tour comes on the heels of two new projects for the band: Last year’s The Owl and Brown’s solo album The Controversy, both of which featured collaborations with unlikely partners like Skrillex, Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder and Shawn Mendes.

It’s fair to assume their tour will stick a little more to songs like Chicken Fried and Toes, but you never know. The band likes to mix in covers of artists like Nirvana, Rage Against the Machine and Imagine Dragons. Watch out for a surprise Skrillex drop-in!
