I am a native New Yorker and a rising third-year journalism student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I’ve been reporting with my school’s independent, student-run paper, The Daily Tar Heel, since my freshman term, but I’ve been writing since I was old enough to spell. I started my first blog, titled ‘The It Pages,’ when I was 8. My goal was the same then as it is now: write good stories about things and people that matter.
