My passion for photography began in the water. Growing up in Tampa, my camera came with me from swim practice to the ocean and back to chlorinated pools. I love creating images that cause people to look longer and sit with a story. One focus of my work is documenting the effects of climate change on communities, often working in collaboration with environmental advocates. I spent the past four years in Washington, D.C. where I earned a BFA in photojournalism from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at the George Washington University. Outside of photojournalism, you’ll find me with my camera in hand at golden hour (sunrise or sunset), playing with Penny the corgi, trying vegan dishes or going to concerts.
