Carly Thompson - Engagement Editor

Engagement Editor

I just graduated from Emerson College, and after three years of brutal winters in Boston, I’m more than happy to be back in the Tampa Bay sunshine. I grew up in Tampa, so working with the Times as as an engagement producer is really like reconnecting with a community I’ve always known and loved. My interests veer towards lifestyle and culture, with previous internships at Tampa Magazine and Boston Magazine, but I like seeing how a local newspaper incorporates that into their coverage. I spend a lot of my time pampering my kittens, but you’re bound to catch me lounging on Pass-A-Grille beach with a cheesy romance novel on my days off.
