  1. Soaring Paws founder Albert Lonzo Adams III is fingerprinted after being sentenced to 10 years probation and fined $18,000 in Hillsborough Circuit Court on Wednesday.   4. A GoFundMe page created for the family of Pedro Aguerreberry amassed more than $50,000 in its first 24 hours. It also drew a collection of memories from those who knew the man as a friend, neighbor and coworker. He died Sunday when a driver crashed into Aguerreberry and his sons. [GoFundMe]
  5. Hillsborough County Sheriff bailiff's lead Howell Donaldson III, the accused Seminole Heights killer, into a Tampa courtroom. Donaldson's lawyers told judge Mark Wolfe they want a psychologist, who examined the defendant, to testify about Donaldson's competency to stand trial. A hearing was set for June 29.   6. A 22-year-old FedEx driver died Tuesday when a tire blew out on his freight truck on Interstate 4 east of Tampa, sending it into a collision path with a Chevrolet Volt. [Florida Highway Patrol]
  7. The Florida Highway Patrol says this is the truck that struck and killed 13-year-old Jesus Navarro in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Dover. Troopers received a tip that the truck was at a home on Old Dixie Highway in Auburndale and the owner surrendered it on Tuesday. Troopers were still investigating. [Florida Highway Patrol]

  9. Jess Paez, pictured clean shaven in 2018 and bearded in 2017, had been charged with roadside solicitation in those years and also in 2014. Tampa police are now looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck him late Sunday or early Saturday before leaving the scene.   10. A December 2015 post on Twitter said Chevy would match donations to Soaring Paws. When asked for proof of Chevy's interest, Adams wrote this to a state investigator: "Chevy was a living breathing creature, a very loved dog, who recently died. His owner wanted to set up a matching donation weekend in his honor. It never happened because three days later, his owner also passed away returning home from the vet with his ashes."   13. Dirk Davis, 24, of Tampa faces charges in connection with the Feb. 2 robbery of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The case was initially filed as an armed robbery charge in Hillsborough Circuit Court, but federal authorities took over on March 15, charging Davis with brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.
