Banged up Lightning face Flyers tonight; Brown makes amends with Nashville fan

The Lightning, minus several regulars, return to Amalie Arena tonight to play the Flyers.

F Brian Boyle is day-to-day with an upper body injury and did not participate in the morning skate.

D Anton Stralman, day-to-day with an upper body injury, skated with his team this morning but wore the red non-contact jersey.

Several other players are still banged up.

"It's tough," coach Jon Cooper said. "You got to have depth. It happens every year, so you got to weather the storm and move on."

The Lightning recalled F Erik Condra from AHL Syracuse today. Condra was recalled earlier in the week and was a healthy scratch in Monday's game at Nashville. He was optioned to Syracuse on Tuesday but recalled today. He did not leave the Tampa area, though.

Andrei Vasilevskiy, who shut out the Flyers on Saturday, is in goal tonight.

Vasilevskiy has pitched shutouts in his last two starts and has allowed one goal in his last three games.

He leads the NHL in goals against average (1.43) and save percentage (.953).

In other news, F J.T. Brown referred to the incident at the end of Monday's game when he broke the cell phone of a Nashville fan while leaving the ice as being in the "heat of the moment."

Brown and the Lightning have reached out to the fan. Brown said he has reached out to the fan and will buy him a new phone. The Lightning is also sending the fan a signed J.T. Brown jersey.
