If you want to stand in the Purple Rain a little longer, here's some good news: Prince's old band – The Revolution – reunited and has been touring since the singer's death in 2016. The group has already added some tour dates for 2018, including a stop in Florida.

The Revolution band members (Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Bobby Z, Brownmark and Dr. Fink) hit much of the U.S. this past summer, finishing up with a sold-out show in Los Angeles on Labor Day.

The Revolution formed in 1979 when Prince joined drummer Bobby Z and keyboardist Matt Fink. The band is credited on three Prince studio albums: Purple Rain, Around the World In a Day and Parade. (Some members also played on 1999, Controversy, Dirty Mind and Sign O The Times.)

Here are the new tour dates:

Dec. 29: 1st Bank Center – Broomfield, CO
Dec. 31: Paragon Casino Resort – Marksville, LA
Feb. 22: The Joy Theater – New Orleans, LA
Feb. 23: Revolution Live – Fort Lauderdale, FL
Feb. 24: The Tabernacle – Atlanta, GA
