Ex-Bucs DE Daniel Te’o-Nesheim dies at age 30

No details yet in the death of former Bucs defensive end, who was coaching in Hawaii.

Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, who started 26 games for the Bucs at defensive end in 2012-13, died Monday at age 30, Hawaii TV station KITV reported.

No details were immediately available about his death. After four years in the NFL, Te'o-Nesheim was coaching at Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Waimea.

Te'o-Nesheim, born in American Samoa, was a third-round pick of the Eagles in 2010, but found his best NFL success with the Bucs. Before playing in the NFL, he left the University of Washington as the school's career sacks leader with 30.
