Ryan Fitzpatrick is an unrestricted free agent, and his future with the Bucs remains uncertain. But the veteran quarterback is still very much here in Tampa and still sharing his wisdom with younger athletes.

In this case, they're much younger — Fitzpatrick took the microphone and offered up five minutes of season-opening wisdom for the Tampa Bay Little League, where he is helping coach the team one of his sons is playing on.

As you might expect, the Harvard graduate stressed the importance of academics and focusing on schoolwork. He reminded them to behave and be respectful, to listen to their coaches and to make an effort to get a little bit better every day.

"Always hustle, whether you're going to get a water break, whether you miss a ball and it goes between your legs, whether you're going from drill to drill, always hustle," he said. "If you hustle, everything kind of starts to go your way. It's pretty amazing how that happens."
