Bucs trade down with Bills, get No. 12, two 2nd-rounders

Bucs drop down from No. 7 overall, but pick up two picks from Bills in 3-for-1 deal.

The Bucs have traded down from their top pick, moving down five spots from No. 7 to No. 12 and gaining two second-round picks from the Buffalo Bills.

Tampa Bay still has the No. 12 pick in the draft, but picked up No. 53 and No. 56, trading back their compensatory seventh-round pick, No. 255, to the Bills.

Buffalo used the pick to take Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen at No. 7.

The Bucs made the trade after the draft's top three non-QBs — RB Saquon Barkley, DE Bradley Chubb and G Quenton Nelson — all went in the top six picks.
