TAMPA — Leave it to the Washington football team to use Dirk Koetter's sweet tooth against him.

Not long after Washington handed the Bucs a 16-3 loss Sunday, the team's Twitter account chose to kick the Bucs coach while he was down.

A little background: During his radio show two days after Halloween, Koetter was asked what his favorite candy was, to which Koetter responded with the old classic Bit-O-Honey.

This past week, Koetter was gifted with a bag of Bit-O-Honey during his media session and decided to share, tossing candies to reporters.

A light-hearted moment in the middle of a difficult season, right?

Well, here's where this sweet story turns sour.

After the Bucs committed four turnovers on Sunday — losing for the sixth time in seven games — the Redskins' Twitter account unsurfaced the video of Koetter throwing candy, replacing the Bit-O-Honey's with Ls to signify that Koetter's Bucs have been tossing out losses.

The link to the tweet was not working later in the evening, so it appears to have been deleted.
