TAMPA — The Bucs will be without starting cornerback Brent Grimes for today's game against the Carolina Panthers with a knee injury.

Cornerbacks Carlton Davis (knee) and M.J. Stewart (foot) are also out, which will test the Bucs' depth at the position.

Grimes played all 64 defensive snaps last week against the 49ers.  De'Vante Harris will start in Grimes' place.

Also, veteran offensive tackle Demar Dotson will miss the game.

Dotson played the first 11 games through various injuries, but the nine-year veteran will sit with ankle and shoulder injuries that forced him from last week's game against the 49ers.

Dotson was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and didn't practice on Thursday and Friday.

Leonard Wester, who filled in for Dotson last week, will make his first start at right tackle.

Dotson missed the last five games last season with knee injuries that led to offseason surgery.

Chris Godwin will start at wide receiver for DeSean Jackson, who is out with a lingering thumb injury.

The other Bucs' inactives are third quarterback Ryan Griffin and defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
