TAMPA — The last time we saw Bucs receiver DeSean Jackson, he was hobbling through the visiting team locker room of AT&T Stadium Sunday with a visible limp after suffering what he called a right Achilles injury.

And when the Bucs returned to practice Wednesday, Jackson wasn't present. He was listed as a non-participant on the team's injury report Wednesday with an Achilles injury.

Bucs coach Dirk Koetter didn't give much clarity regarding the severity of Jackson's injury.

"We'll just have to see how it goes this week," Koetter said. "They followed up with all the stuff. They do that with everybody. No matter how minor it might seem, they're checking on all of it."

Jackson missed the previous three games with a thumb injury. He was injured on his only catch of the game when his foot was stepped on following a 24-yard pass play. He limped off the field to the sideline, where he fell to the ground in obvious pain, holding his right lower leg.

Defensive end Carl Nassib missed Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury, according to the injury report. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was limited with knee and shoulder injuries. Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (shoulder) and offensive tackle Demar Dotson (knee) were limited participants on Wednesday. All four players have missed early-week practices in recent weeks and still played on Sunday.
