Bulls QB Quinton Flowers has been named one of 10 finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, presented annually to an outstanding senior or fourth-year junior quarterback.

Flowers, Memphis' Riley Ferguson and Toledo's Logan Woodside are the only Group of Five finalists. In addition to on-the-field accomplishments, the award considers "character, citizenship, scholastic achievement and leadership qualities."

The winner will be announced Dec. 8 in Baltimore.

Flowers eclipsed 10,000 total yards for his career in Saturday's 28-24 loss to Houston. Though eight games this season, he's 112-of-210 for 1,570 yards, 12 touchdowns and three interceptions; and has run for 620 yards and nine TDs on 129 carries (4.8-yard average).

He ranks sixth in the American Athletic Conference in rushing, eighth in passing yards per game (196.2) and fifth in total offense (273.8 ypg).
