The Bulls men's soccer team, coming off a 6-6-4 season, will host the MLS' Chicago Fire in a 5 p.m. friendly Saturday at Corbett Stadium on the USF campus.
The match is one of two exhibitions against professional teams the Bulls will play in the next five weeks; they host the Rowdies on March 9.
General admission tickets to Saturday's friendly are $9, and can be purchased at USFBullsTix.com, or by calling 1-800-GO-BULLS.
The Fire, third in the MLS' Eastern Conference last season, just re-signed German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, who helped lead his country to the 2014 World Cup. The club also features MLS All-Star Dax McCarty, who hails from Winter Park; and MLS Golden Boot winner Nemanja Nikolic (24 goals last year).
USF returns 21 veterans, including eight starters, from last year's team.
