PINK PALACE: DON CESAR SWAG
One of our area's most iconic landmarks, the Don CeSar Hotel on St. Pete Beach, is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. As part of the celebration, it's offering limited-edition luxury goods that commemorate the Pink Palace. Flip through decades of photographs of the resort in the coffee table book; get a pink mani/pedi with the I Dream of the Don nail polish, created by SpaRitual; and let a Bourbon and Boweties bangle with a charm of the Don dangle from your wrist. Don't worry, guys, they didn't forget about you. Italian designer Bugatchi created men's pink dress socks embossed with the Don's logo as well as pink enamel cufflinks. The merchandise will be available in the resort's retail shop throughout 2018. 3400 Gulf Blvd. (727) 360-1881. doncesar.com.

CULTURE AND HERITAGE: BLACK ARTS AND FILM FESTIVAL
Since February is Black History month,  plenty of events celebrating black culture are happening, but this is one of the most creative, for sure. Presented by St. Peterburg's Gallerie 909, this two-day festival showcases four independent films from local filmmakers on Friday night, and an exhibition of art reflecting the African diaspora from 40 local and national artists on Saturday. The screening happens at the AMC Sundial 20  (151 Second Ave. N) from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. The art festival happens Saturday from 11 a.m. -6 p.m. at Gallerie 909's space at the Skyway Marina Mall (4301 34th St. S). There will be African dancing and drumming, the Nomad Art Bus and the Bluebird Book Bus will be onsite and a DJ will be spinning all day.

PICKER PLACE: FOUR DAY VINTAGE MARKET
Picker Place Vintage Market started in Plant City, but it added a location in Ybor City almost two years ago. This is great because the two locations open on different weekends, so you never have to miss out. The Ybor location has now expanded its hours to hold a Four Day Vintage Market on the second and fourth weekends of each month, which includes this one. Today to Sunday, dig through the well-organized space for that vintage collectible you’ve been searching for, or find an interesting conversation piece. There’s plenty to choose from, so happy hunting. Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at 1402 E Second Ave. pickerplace.com.
