Glam it Up: Gypsy Junque's Beach Photo Shoot
Is your Instagram page, like mine, a sad wasteland with hardly any images of yourself doing something interesting? There's a chance to fix that this Sunday, at Gypsy Junque's Boho Beach Photo Shoot by the Gandy Bridge. Gypsy Junque is a traveling boutique in a colorful bus specializing in all things funky and boho. They've teamed up with Wild Artistry Photography to give you professional images, in a number of packages, starting at just $65. You can choose to use outfits and props from Gypsy Junque, or create your own look. Bring up to four friends for their tribe packages. And they'll also do your hair and make up for an additional $20-$60, with a choice of simple glam and festival tribe. Find all the details at

In Bloom: Orchid Expo
No one can deny the incredible beauty that orchids possess. And their many different types and colors are all part of nature's wonder. Be captivated by them this weekend at the Tampa Orchid Club's Orchid Expo at USF's Botanical Gardens. The American Orchid Society will be judging the blooms early Saturday morning, so there's an opportunity to purchase award winning flowers. And because orchids can be tricky to keep alive, experts will be discussing orchid culture and care on Saturday at 2 p.m. The event happens from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. $5. 12210 USF Pine Drive, Tampa. (813) 949-7467.

Hey, Ladies: Tampa Bay Women's Expo
The female-centric Tampa Bay Women's Expo comes to the Florida State Fairgrounds on Saturday, bringing exhibits, seminars and vendors dedicated to fashion and beauty, health and wellness and even travel. Because the Times produces the event, some of your favorite female writers and editors will be in attendance to meet and chat with, including myself, Stephanie Hayes, Sharon Wynne, Laura Reiley, Colette Bancroft and Amy Scherzer. Come to the Times table and say hi! It happens from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Entertainment Hall. Admission is free, but parking is $8. 4802 U.S. 301 N, Tampa. (727) 893-8523.
