Only seven counties in the country produce more of ESPN's top 100 college football recruits than Hillsborough.
In the past 10 years, Hillsborough has produced 20 players who ranked among their class' top 100 recruits. That's fourth in the state, behind Broward (38), Miami-Dade (23) and Manatee (21, thanks almost exclusively to IMG Academy).
Los Angeles (48) had the most nationally.
In the top counties, only eight schools produced more top-100 recruits than Armwood (four).
Florida was the No. 1 state with 206 top prospects, followed by Texas, Georgia and California.
