Pinellas County schools launched an Instagram account Monday, aiming to give families another way to connect with the district.

“The account compliments our current social media presence on Facebook and Twitter,” district spokeswoman Lisa Wolf-Chason said in a news release. “Followers can expect photos from around (schools), including compelling student stories and graduation highlights.”

The district will also share posts about its history on “throwback” Thursdays, using the hashtag #tbt.

“We hope you will follow Pinellas county Schools on Instagram to learn more about the amazing ways we are preparing students for college, career and life,” the news release said, adding the hashtag #PCSProud.

You can find the account by searching “Pinellas County Schools” on Instagram, or by clicking here.
