New principals at Adams, Turner-Bartels

The new principal of Turner/Bartels K-8 School is R. LaMarr Buggs, Jr.

The Hillsborough County School Board approved the appointment of Buggs, 48, at Tuesday’s meeting. Buggs worked last as assistant principal of Sulphur Springs K-8.

The board also named Nishira Mitchell, 36, as principal of Adams Middle School. Mitchell worked last as assistant principal of King High School.

Rachel Runs-Brice was named supervisor of Community Schools and Nikida Lockett was appointed as supervisor of Career, Technical and Adult Education.
