The Lightning wasted little time in pushing for the next special event on its wish list: an outdoor game.

One day after hosting the NHL All-Star Game, there was a billboard put up on southbound 275 that read, "Thank You, NHL! Next time, Let's go outside the box." There was an image of Raymond James Stadium with a hockey rink.

The team wanted NHL officials to see the sign on its way out of town Monday and Tuesday, the two days the board will be up. NHL executive VP Steve Mayer has said Tampa is on the "short list" to host a future outdoor Stadium Series game.
