It’s that time of year when Tampa Bay Comic Con just keeps rolling out celebrity guest announcements.

This week the convention, which returns to Tampa Convention Center from Aug. 3 to 5 with hundreds of vendors, geek-centric panels, cosplay competitions and more, revealed that David Harbour, best known as Chief Jim Hopper on Netflix’s Stranger Things, and Brent Spiner, best known as Lt. Commander Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation, would be making appearances.

Those announcements follow word that Matthew Lewis of the Harry Potter franchise, and Noah Schnapp, also of Stranger Things, Cary Elwes, of Princess Bride fame and others from TV and film are coming too.

That’s in a addition to a long lineup of cartoon voice actors, comic book artists and others who will appear to sign autographs, pose for photos and record voicemail messages — not included with the cost of admission.

Some of the celebrity guests will also take part in discussion panels open to all Tampa Bay Comic Con attendees.

Tickets for the con are on sale at tampabaycomiccon.com.
