The Rays traded right fielder Steven Souza, Jr., their 2017 team MVP, to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night in a three-team deal for Arizona's No. 2 prospect, lefty Anthony Banda, Yankees infield prospect Nick Solak and two players to be named later.

The trade continued the roster revamp that started late last year when Tampa Bay dealt third baseman Evan Longoria to the Giants, and continued Saturday night when pitcher Jake Odorizzi was ship to the Twins for a minor-league shortstop and outfielder Corey Dickerson was designated for assignment.
