The Rays are set to get their first look at an old friend tonight, as Alex Cobb will be on the mound for the Orioles, weather permitting.

Heavy rain is forecast for the Baltimore area, though Orioles officials seem confident there will be a window for the game to be  played.

Here is the Rays lineup, with Jake Faria starting:

Cobb spent his entire career with the Rays, reaching the majors in 2011 and making 117 starts for the Rays while missing time with assorted injuries, including Tommy John surgery. He rejected a qualifying offer from the Rays to venture into free agency, and though it took until March 21 to sign, he struck it rich with the Orioles, getting a four-year, $57 million deal.

The Rays may have further updates today on two of their injured players, INF Matt Duffy and RHP Nathan Eovaldi.

The Orioles are likely to be without ex-Ray Tim Beckham, who may be headed to the DL with groin and Achilles issues. The O's claimed INF Jace Peterson off waivers from the Yankees, but don't expect him to arrive until Wednesday.
