The Rays and Orioles are going to try again to play tonight, though the tarp was on the field this afternoon and a light rain falling with heavier precipitation expected later.

The Rays, who called up veteran reliever Jonny Venters this afternoon, are planning the same lineup as Tuesday as they are expecting to take on former teammate Alex Cobb.

RHP Jake Faria starts for the Rays, who opted to push RHP Chris Archer back to Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Orioles put ex-Rays INF Tim Beckham on the DL with a left groin strain and added Jace Peterson to their roster.
