UPDATE, 5:40: The Rays reinstated C Adam Moore from the restricted list after he got his passport issue resolved, and to make room on the 40-man roster (since putting Moore on the list is what made room for Ciuffo) the Rays moved INF Daniel Robertson to the 60-day DL, meaning he won't return from left thumb surgery this season. … RHP Jake Faria was activated and Cash said they are still working out their plans for him, whether he starts or works behind an opener, but that either way this "is a big month" for him. … Cash said he didn't think it was a big deal starting Stanek in back to back games, no different than using him in a later inning or having a closer work two days in a row. … Cash reiterated that Romo, who hasn't pitched since Aug. 25 is fine, that there haven't been the right matchups and no need to use him in non-leverage situations just to get work.

DEVELOPING: Having won 12 of their last 14 games and moved to 11 games over .500 for the first time since the end of 2013, the Rays take on the Blue Jays again tonight.

RHP Ryne Stanek, who worked a 1-2-3, 16-pitch first inning on Monday, will have the opener duties again. Though Stanek has pitched 11 times this season on back-to-back days this will be the first time he makes consecutive "starts."

LHP Jalen Beeks is slated to work the bulk of the innings behind Stanek.

The Blue Jays are starting LHP Ryan Borucki, a rookie lefty making his 13th start.

Here is the Rays mostly right-handed lineup:
Smith lf
Pham dh
Duffy 3b
Cron 1b
Wendle 2b
Adames ss
Kiermaier cf
Gomez rf
Sucre c
Stanek p (with Beeks slated for most of the innings)
