UPDATE, 6:15: Cash talked about how tough Thursday's loss was, that he doubted many on the team got a good night's sleep. He said he took Kiermaier out to get Meadows an at-bat and doesn't know if Kiermaier would have caught the Kendrys Morales blooper that dropped in, and said he had confidence Schultz was going to get out of the jam at the start of the ninth which is why he didn't have anyone warming up. … Romo said he was not caught off-guard by having to take over for Schultz and the only pitch he wanted back was the one Gurriel hit for the tying homer.  … Expect LHP Jalen Beeks to work multiple innings in relief of opener Diego Castillo and then a team effort from the bullpen.
