UPDATE, 4:51: Cash said Choi is okay, a little sore from collision at home plate but otherwise okay, no concussion. Said they will try to stay away from him today but should be available Thursday. … He also said they felt there was no issue with way Yankees' Sanchez blocked the plate, that it was "a pretty clean" play. .. Cash said the plan all along was for Glasnow to pitch Friday, and they will use a series of relievers on Thursday pending how tonight's game goes. …

DEVELOPING: The Rays are going back to the opener format tonight, with RHP Ryne Stanek slated to work the first inning or two and then RHP Yonny Chirinos slated to follow.

Stanek will be his taking his 28th turn as the game opener, having gone 0-2, 2.92 with a .189 average. Chirinos has been pitching well as well.

DH Ji-Man Choi is not in the lineup after leaving Tuesday's game with a cut on his left ear that required stitches and concussion-like symptoms that required further monitoring following a collision at home plate.

C.J. Cron, chasing two more homers to get to 30, is the DH.
