Someday, somehow, we can all probably expect a Jimi Hendrix hologram to head out on tour, right?

Until that day comes, the next best thing is the Experience Hendrix Tour, which has become a spring staple at Ruth Eckerd Hall. The tour will return to Clearwater in March, with yet another mind-blowing collection of six-string talent playing Hendrix songs all night.

Guitar lgods Joe Satriani, Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Jonny Lang, Dweezil Zappa and Eric Johnson lead the lineup for Experience Hendrix 2019, which hits Ruth Eckerd Hall on March 4. They'll be joined by Doug Pinnick (King's X), Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble), Mato Nanji (Indigenous), Ernie Isley, Ana Popovic, Kenny Aronoff, the Slide Brothers, Henri Brown and Kevin McCormick. Anchoring the lineup, as always, is Hendrix's Band of Gypsies bassist Billy Cox.

Tickets to the show — the second stop on Experience Hendrix's 2019 tour — start at $56.75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Click here for details.

If that's not enough guitar greatness for you, there's always the Generation Axe Tour, which hits Ruth Eckerd Hall on Dec. 11 with Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Nuno Bettencourt, Zakk Wylde and Animals as Leaders' Tosin Abasi. Click here for details on that one.

And if you want to relive the music of an artist who died decades ago, there's always the Roy Orbison hologram tour on Nov. 19. Until the inevitable Hendrix hologram hits the road, that's your best bet for the future.
