Summer must be just around the corner. How can we tell? Because the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre has just lined up its first double bill of the season.

Live Nation on Friday announced that radio-rock hitmakers Train and the Goo Goo Dolls will team up for a summer tour that'll arrive in Tampa on July 7. Allen Stone will open the show. Tickets start at $29.50 and go on sale Nov. 16. Click here for details.

The show pairs two of the bigger pop-rock survivors from the '90s and 2000s, both of them loaded with hits like Iris, Name, Drops of Jupiter and Hey Soul Sister. Sounds like a pleasant, easygoing way to wind down a long Fourth of July weekend.
