Robert Macomber (Honoring the Enemy) will discuss and sign the 14th book in his Honor series of nautical historical novels at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Oxford Exchange, 420 W Kennedy Blvd., Tampa. Admission $5, applicable to book purchase.

Former Tampa Bay Times staff writer Ben Montgomery (The Man Who Walked Backward: An American Dreamer's Search for Meaning in the Great Depression) will discuss and sign his nonfiction book at 2 p.m. Saturday at the St. Petersburg Main Library, 3745 Ninth Ave. N.

Former St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker (Beyond the Sunshine: A Timeline of Florida’s Past) will discuss and sign his book at 2 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Village, 11909 125th St., Largo.

Lisa See (The Island of Sea Women) will appear at a book talk about her new historical novel, with signing and tea tasting, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Oxford Exchange. Tickets, $37 for one copy of book and admission for one, $47 for one book and admission for two, at

East Lake Community Library’s Authors Showcase presents Debi Graham-Leard (Where There’s Smoke, There’s Trouble) discussing and signing her new mystery novel at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 4125 East Lake Road, Palm Harbor.
