UPDATE, 8:08: The Rays said x-rays were negative so officially it's right elbow soreness for Miller.
DEVELOPING: Brad Miller left Thursday's game one inning after being hit on the right eblow by a pitch.
Miller was struck in the top of the first by the C.C. Sabathia pitch, was checked by head athletic trainer Ron Porterfield and manager Kevin Cash but stayed in the game.
Though slated to play SS, he instead went to 1B, with a sleeve on his sore elbow, and Nick Franklin shifted to SS.
But after the Rays hit in the top of the second, Miller left the game. Franklin went back to 1B, and newly signed Alexei Ramirez went into the game at SS.
