Hillsborough deputies looking for missing boy, 1, who may be suffering from neglect

UPDATE: The boy has been found safe and his mother is in custody

TAMPA — Deputies are looking for a 1-year-old boy they call missing and endangered after they received a complaint that he was being neglected.

Responding to the complaint, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office went looking for Valyn Douglass-Bush but could not find him. A court ordered the boy taken into custody and an alert was issued that included a photo of him and his mother, Aryn Douglass, 33.

Douglas is wanted on a theft charge, according to court records.

Anyone with information about the boy's whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200.
