ST. PETERSBURG — A crash on the southbound Howard Frankland Bridge on Thursday has shut down several lanes on the approach into Pinellas County.
The multi-vehicle crash took place in the rightside median of the bridge, blocking traffic just before the hump. Several emergency units were dispatched to the wreck.
If you need to cross the bay use one of the other bridges, or prepare to wait a while.
No details about the crash were released by officials, including whether anyone was seriously injured.
