As expected, the Bucs are missing significant players for tonight's game at Carolina, with three starting defensive linemen -- DT Gerald McCoy, DT Clinton McDonald and DE Robert Ayers -- among the players inactive due to injuries.

RB Doug Martin is also inactive, and RB Charles Sims was placed on injured reserve Monday, so the Bucs will have Jacquizz Rodgers starting and rookies Peyton Barber and Russell Hansbrough as the backups tonight.

TE Luke Stocker (ankle), WR Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and rookie OG Caleb Benenoch are also inactive, so the Bucs will have three active quarterbacks, including No. 3 Ryan Griffin for the first time in his two seasons in Tampa Bay.

Carolina is playing without three key offensive starters -- QB Cam Newton, RB Jonathan Stewart and LT Michael Oher -- as well as injured rookies DT Vernon Butler and CB James Bradberry. LB Jeremy Cash and WR Damiere Byrd are also inactive.
