The Bucs will face the Saints in New Orleans today without middle linebacker Mason Foster, who will miss his third straight game with a shoulder injury, the Times' Rick Stroud reports.
With Foster out, Dane Fletcher will start again in the middle, tasked with getting the Bucs defense in optimal position to limit a prolific Saints offense. The Bucs will also be without safety Dashon Goldson, who has been ruled out with an ankle injury suffered in last week's win at Pittsburgh.
Rookie receiver Mike Evans and defensive end Larry English are also out, and quarterback Josh McCown is not expected to play with a thumb injury, but those five should be the extent of the Bucs' injured players this week. The Saints lost starting safety Jairus Byrd to a season-ending knee injury on Thursday.
The Bucs' seven inactives, officially, are the five injured players (LB Foster, QB McCown, WR Evans, S Goldson, DE English) and rookie offensive linemen Kevin Pamphile and Kadeem Edwards. The two rookies have been inactive in all five games.
