AAA, the Auto Club Group, is building a Car Care Plus center at its West Shore Boulevard location, the company said in a release Monday. The facility will provide auto service and repairs, and Auto Club customers will be eligible for discounted rates.
"After opening our new AAA Florida headquarters last year, we are doubling down in Tampa Bay," said Tom White, executive vice president of AAA's Florida operations, in a release. "People can leave their vehicle with us while they're at work. Those who wish to wait can maximize their time by meeting with AAA team members onsite to plan a vacation or review their insurance needs."
About 13 employees will be hired for the Car Care portion, which is set to open in the summer.
