ODESSA — Professional wrestler Chris Jericho has purchased a gated lakefront estate in Odessa for $3.255 million.
Situated on 6.5 acres on Lake Keystone, the 8,569-square-foot house has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, a six-car garage and tennis court. Amenities include wine storage for 500 bottles. Jennifer Zales was the listing agent on the property, which closed Feb. 13.
Born in Long Island, where his father Ted Irvine then played hockey for the New York Rangers, Jericho, 48, grew up in Canada and became best known as a multiple-time champion World Wresting Entertainment from 1999 and last year.
The multi-faceted Jericho, who is married with three children, also appeared on Dancing with the Stars; is lead singer for the heavy metal band Fozzy; and wrote a best-selling book, A Lion's Tale: Around the World In Spandex. He is among several pro wrestlers who have lived in the Tampa Bay area home, including Hulk Hogan and the late Randy "Macho Man'' Savage.
