State gas prices are at their lowest in three months.
According to AAA, the Auto Club Group, Florida gas prices averaged $2.49 a gallon Monday, down 9 cents over the week and the lowest since mid-March. Tampa Bay prices averaged $2.44 a gallon of regular unleaded gas Monday, down 11 cents over the week.
"Domestic crude inventories set a new 2019 high, forcing oil prices to their lowest levels since January," said Mark Jenkins, AAA spokesman. "Strong fuel supplies should keep gas prices low this summer. The state average should drop another 5 cents this week."
Nationally, gas was $2.69 a gallon Monday.
