Tampa Bay is the No. 1 Florida market for Chevrolet's electric vehicles. According to data released by General Motors, Chevrolet's parent company, 30 percent of all electric vehicles the company sells are in the bay area. Clearwater, which was counted separately from Tampa Bay, was Chevy's No. 4 Florida market for the vehicles.
Currently, the automaker has two electric vehicles, the completely electric Bolt EV and the hybrid electric Volt.
Orlando ranked No. 2 behind Tampa Bay, followed by Miami (No. 3), Clearwater (No. 4) and Jacksonville (No. 5).
