Belleair seeks input on town's future

BELLEAIR — Residents are about to have a chance to speak up on the future of the town.

The town is undertaking a six-month process, involving community forums, to work with residents to develop a vision for the future and a strategic plan to make that vision a reality.

Discussion at the forums will focus on identifying those things about Belleair that residents treasure and want to preserve, as well as the community’s hopes for the future, town officials said.

The date of the first strategic planning forums is Nov. 28, 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Dimmitt Community Center. All residents are welcome.

This forum will feature small group and large group discussions about topics that residents are passionate about.

Another forum is slated for Jan. 9, 6-8:30 p.m., at the Dimmitt Community Center. Residents also can participate in a survey. Visit www.townofbelleair.com/stratplan to download a flier.
