Armed robbery suspect flees to nudist resort where he's easily spotted as one of few wearing clothes

KISSIMMEE —Jumping the fence at Cypress Cove Nudist Resort & Spa last week is the least of Milton J. Hodges Jr.'s legal troubles.

At worst he could face simple trespassing for scaling the brick wall, an offense hardly worth noting now that Hodges remains held without bail on at least 10 felony charges following a one-man crime siege Wednesday evening, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

It all started shortly before 7:30 p.m. when Hodges, 20, claimed he was shopping in the garden center for mango and banana trees, records show. Other crimes followed before his arrest after Lowe's clerks and customers chased him across the road to the nudist resort.

Once inside the walled resort, Hodges is accused of drawing a large knife from his pants and carjacking a golf cart from a security guard. As one of the only folks wearing clothing, the young ex-convict was easily spotted by sheriff's deputies who arrested him at gunpoint after he threatened them with his knife.
