Bret Michaels added to 2013 Florida Strawberry Festival lineup

A day after the country side of the Florida Strawberry Festival lineup was fleshed out with Dwight Yoakam, Lorrie Morgan and others, festival organizers have added another rock act to the bill: Bret Michaels.

The Poison frontman-turned-reality TV star will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, the next-to-last day of the festival. He joins Foreigner, Casting Crowns, Chubby Checker and Bobby Vinton as the primary non-country artists on this year's bill. Tickets to each night of the festival go onsale at 8 a.m. Dec. 3. By our count, we now have all of the festival's evening headline entertainers (Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Martina McBride, etc.), and most of the afternoon performers, but organizers promise a few acts still to come.

Also: Yes, this is the only photo of Michaels we have on hand at the moment. We think it works.
