The Rays position players didn't take batting practice today, but their starting pitchers (and reliever Wade Davis) did, and the Sox provided an interesting soundtrack on the Fenway Park PA system: Fur Elise, Canon in D and other classical songs.
On Saturday, when the Sox turned off the PA music (as is their custom) for the Rays regular batting practice, the Rays brought out a boombox and hooked it up near the batting cage with an extension cord from their dugout. About halfway through, the Sox started playing organ music.
Rays INF Elliot Johnson posted on Twitter today:
So we set up our own bp music yesterday and they countered by playing the organ 20 mins before normal. Hope the organist gets paid OT
