After tons of negative press during her 777 Tour, Rihanna apologized to all the poor souls stuck on her tour jet for not providing any access, ignoring please from angry fans and basically holding everyone hostage for a week. Yeah, music journalists have it sooo hard.
About 250 journos and fans have been aboard the singer's 777 jet for the weeklong event -- seven concerts in seven cities in seven countries -- since it headed to Mexico City last week. She wasn't providing any interviews and didn't sit out in the jet with her dedicated fans, so journalists started revolting and people began to wreak havoc on the plane, with one guy even streaking through the aisles for all of social media to see.
Rihanna addressed her press corps on the way to New York Tuesday, finally sitting down with all those people wh were supposed to be writing good things about her: "Guess what, we made it! This has been an experience the I will never ever forget. I barely slept. My sleeping was all done on this plane," she said, according to Us Weekly. "I want to thank everyone for making this trip the s---. I want to see the naked Australian!"
She went on to say that she knew the press was disappointed with the access, but she had her reasons.
"I know you guys got barely any dirt," she saids. "But I had to be good. I still sound like s---. It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again." Just make sure you're not one of the fans or writers stuck on a jumbo jet for a week with no bathroom access, having to listen to Diamonds play over and over and over again.
