A report by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel provides more evidence that football in Florida is crazy.
A youth football coach in West Park was videotaped slapping an official to the ground. Oh, and that coach has a history of trouble - 12 arrests since 1989, according to the paper. It reminds me of the recent Countryside drama, but on a much grander scale.
The league has paused its activities during the investigation, according to the Sun-Sentinel. That, of course, means that an estimated 200 kids can't play football because of the mistake(s) of adults.
