The rumor mill recently started going crazy after Jennifer Hudson said a third film installment of the HBO megahit Sex and the City may soon become a reality.
"I think it might be [happening]," Hudson told Dish Nation in a radio interview. "Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look for it."
The 33-year-old American Idol alum said her character, Sarah Jessica Parker's miracle-working assistant, could make an appearance in the hypothetical threequel.
"Look for Louise from St. Louis!" she said.
Okay, so now would be a good time to catch your breath because we're about to give you even more exciting non-confirmations. This past weekend SJP herself got in on the gossip, tweeting with co-star Kristin Davis about the news. The exchange, which is hard to believe came from a couple of 49-year-olds, went a little something like this:
Charlotte: "@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!! <3"
Carrie: "@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X"
Charlotte: "@SJP Yyyeessssss… But I'm afraid to get TOO excited yet - You let me know when we can celebrate. XO"
Fans, of course, begged Parker to tell them what the tease was all about, to which she replied, "That news zooming around."
Hopefully this means it's really going down and not that these ladies are pining for attention. But who knows because Hollywood. SJP has said that she and creator Michael Patrick King already have a third story in mind. So, stilettos crossed.
